Five Royal Air Force flying boats (No. 230 Squadron) - largest of their type in the world - which are to strengthen the R.A.F. in the Far East, arrived at Plymouth from Pembroke Dock at the start of their 8,000 miles flight to Singapore. The flight is being made in easy stages, longest of which will be the 920 miles from Malta to Aboukir, and the machines are due to arrive early next month.
