660792...WATCH YOUR CREDIT...INTERNATIONAL NEWS PHOTO SLUG (SEAPLANE TAXIING) OFF ON A 3300-MILE ASSIGNMENT---- New York....Headed for the Chilly Wastes of Labrador, the seaplane carrying Hugh Broderick and M.A. Baron, flying cameramen for International News Photos, INC., taxiing over the ground as it takes off on what is to be the longest aerial assignment ever handed to a couple of metropolitan newspaper cameramen by their assignment editor. The Hazardous flight was made to a point but 22 degrees below the arctic circle, known as Cartwright, Labrador, and about 1650 miles from New York, making the round trip flight a total distance of at least 3300 miles. At Cartwright, the photographers will obtain the coveted pictures of Gen. Itado Balbo and his Armada of 25 planes which took off from Italy today (Saturday) at 5:30 A.M., or 12:40 A.M.
