Zimmerman and Edward Moodie, the two pilots who took off from Keyport, New Jersey, Tuesday on an attempted flight to Porto Rico only to be forced down off the Delaware Capes, arrived in Boston today aboard the rescuing ship Frieda of the Union Sulphur Lines together with their salvaged biplane. Both men had been adrift for more than10 hours before being sighted and rescued by the Frieda. Neither seemed to suffer any bad effects of their Harrowing experience. 12/17/31.
