Denton, 26, with the Henry Fernberger Trophy for 1933 which is awarded each year for general efficiency in aviation as well as for the "Most Heroic Deed". Denton was cited for his Bravery in taking a land plane 35 miles to sea in search of the Akron after it crashed last year. Denton is a former Michigan boy now residing in Philadelphia. The trophy is competed for each year by Naval Reserve Flying Officers of the Fourth Naval District which includes Pittsburgh and Erie as wel, as Philadelphia. (E-10-15-33-11/17).
