TWIN TROUBLE. Passengers using the busy Chicago airport sometimes think they are seeing double when they change planes at the field. The plane crews – stewardesses and pilots – are also changed at the Airport, but the differences is known only to a few experienced travellers. Twin sisters act as stewardesses and twin brothers as pilots on the passenger planes – and that’s where confusion begins. The twins are so alike that even the aerodrome officials mix them up. Photo Shows: The twin pilots and stewardesses of the TWA lines as they changed planes at Chicago airport. The stewardesses are Margaret (left) and Marjorie Stuecken and the pilots Maurice (left) and Merrill Williams. US June 23rd 1936 PN.g. [Sipho]
