NEWVILLE, PA.-Thw white monoplane in which Mrs. Ruth Stewart and Mrs. Debbie Stanford attempted a flight from St. Louis to New York was found today imbedded in the heavy woods on Bower Mountain, fourteen miles west of here. Both women were found in the wreckage of their craft. They were instantly killed when their ship became lost the other day in rain and fog and crashed into the wooded slope. Mrs. Stewart and her companion had planned to attempt a record flight from New York to Buenos Aires and were en route to the former city from St. Louis when the unfortunate accident occurred.
