KANSAS CITY, MO.-The remains of the $60.000 Goodyear dirigible Mayflower after it was swept to destruction against high tension wires near the Kansas City municipal airport in a sudden wind storm yesterday. The craft caught fire after striking the wires and Capt. Charles H. Brannigan, 35, was severely burned in an attempt to bring his craft under control. Three other members of crew jumped to safety.
