Rescued Spanish captain and family walk in Cromer. While a Trinity house vessel was locating his ship “Cantabria “, which had sunk in 15 fathoms off Cromer after a two-hour shelling by a Spanish Nationalist warship ,captain Manuel Argüelles, his wife and family were recovering at Cromer (Norfolk) from their ordeal. They were brought ashore by the lifeboat commanded by Coxswain Henry Blogg, only double lifeboat V.C., after their ship sank.
