MINOT, MAINE---Left to right-Alden Pulsifer, Assistant Postmaster of Minot, Maine, with their dog sled loaded with Uncle Sam’s mail, ready to start on a delivery tour, from the Post Office, over the snow covered countryside. The roads near Minot, Maine have snow drifts as high as 8 feet, and the sled was the only means of getting through.
